What the app stores

To work, the app saves the following on your Mac, inside its own sandboxed storage:

• Your mouse's name and your settings (session and break lengths, daily plan, menu bar preference).
• Your progress: sessions completed, cheese, daily and weekly statistics, and which backgrounds you own or use.
• The state of a running timer, so it can resume if you quit and reopen the app.

This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it.

What the app does not do

• No accounts or sign-in.
• No network connections. The app does not request network access.
• No analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting services.
• No third-party SDKs.
• No access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files or other apps.

Notifications

If you allow them, the app shows local notifications when a focus session or break ends. They are created on your Mac and are not sent through any server. You can turn them off at any time in System Settings → Notifications.

Saving an image

If you choose to download your daily summary image, the app asks where to save it and writes only that file to the location you pick.

Deleting your data

Quit the app and delete the folder ~/Library/Containers/com.soheeplays.MousePomodoro. Deleting the app alone may leave this folder behind.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
