Move Your Mouse
Move Your Mouse is a pomodoro timer that lives in your menu bar, with a pixel-art mouse who keeps you company. Focus, take breaks, earn cheese, and unlock new backgrounds. Nothing is ever lost or taken away.
Getting started
- Click the mouse icon in the menu bar to open the timer. The app has no Dock icon.
- Give your mouse a name, plan today's sessions, and start your first focus session.
- Use the header icons for weekly stats, minimize, settings and shop, and quit.
Frequently asked questions
Look for the small mouse icon at the right side of the menu bar. If your menu bar is crowded, some icons may be hidden behind the notch or in a menu bar manager.
Open System Settings → Notifications → Move Your Mouse and allow notifications. Also check that Focus modes aren't silencing them.
Only on your Mac. The app has no accounts and no cloud sync, so progress does not move to another Mac.
Click the exit icon at the right end of the header, then choose Quit. Quitting during a session is safe, because the timer resumes when you reopen the app.
Quit the app, then delete the folder ~/Library/Containers/com.soheeplays.MousePomodoro.
